In a bit of a continuation of my about me page, I wanted to let you all know what I’m running for a setup! I have been slowly building my PC for years and it is nothing too special but pretty powerful for what I use it for. I have also been building my home studio over the last year in order to be able to make the best videos possible for your enjoyment! I have provided some links below if you would like to build something similar. Some of these links are affiliate links, which help to support GTG and the content!
Gaming Platform
- System: Xbox Series X – I absolutely LOVE this system! Tons of power for a console!
- Secondary System: Xbox One X – This is used primarily for testing and running events on the GTG Ark Cluster!
- Controller: Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller – Great controller with many features! The only con would be the durability, your results may vary lol
Editing/Stream PC
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero (WiFi 6E) LGA 1700(Intel®13th&12th Gen) ATX Gaming Motherboard(PCIe 5.0 – This has been a great motherboard with tons of features!
- CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K Desktop Processor 24 cores (8 P-cores + 16 E-cores) 36M Cache, up to 5.8 GHz – This CPU has allowed me to multitask with ease across multiple programs.
- CPU Cooler: DeepCool Liquid Cooler LT720 – This has always kept my CPU cool without any issues!
- GPU: Asus ROG STRIX Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 – I was always taught to “go big or go home” and this card is EXACTLY that lol
- RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 5200MHz x 2 – Currently I am only running 64GB of RAM but with a future BIOS update on the Z790 motherboard I will be able to install the other 64GB that is sitting in a box right now lol
- M.2 NVMe: Samsung 980 PRO 1TB – Used exclusively for Windows and other program files
- M.2 NVMe: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB – Main recording/editing drive
- SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SATA 2.5″ Internal SSD x2 – Used for overflow recording/editing
- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3 TB HDD – I use this drive mainly for storage of completed project files
- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4 TB HDD – Also used mainly for storage of completed project files
- PSU: Corsair HX Series, HX1200 – Great PSU with lots of options!
- Capture Card: AVerMedia Live Gamer 4K – 4Kp60 HDR Capture Card – This capture card has been great!
- PC Case: Lian Li PC-O11DX 011 – Lots of room for all the goodies!
Peripherals
- Keyboard: Steelseries Apex Pro – Fully customizable keyboard with magnetic adjustable keys!
- Mouse: Logitech G502 X Plus Lightspeed Wireless RGB Gaming Mouse – Seems good so far!
- Headset: SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless Gaming Headset – Great headset with AMAZING sound! Does not work with the Xbox, but I have all my sound running through my PC giving me the ability to use these.
- Microphone: Rode Procaster Broadcast Dynamic Vocal Microphone – Great microphone with broadcast-quality sound, gives that deep radio voice sound.
- Mic Shock Mount: Rode PSM1 Shock Mount – Helps keep the vibration into the mic to a minimum
- Mic Boom: RODE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm – Holds the Procaster nice and steady!
- Mixer: GoXLR Mini – Awesome little mixer with XLR support! Great accompanying software as well.
- Main Gaming Monitor: Asus MG28UQ 28″ 4k60 Gaming Monitor – Awesome monitor that I have been using for a few years now. Does not seem to be available anymore.
- Secondary monitors: ASUS TUF Gaming 27 inch 2K HDR Gaming Monitor (VG27AQ) – QHD (2560 x 1440) x3 – Great monitors!
- Camera: AVerMedia Live Streamer CAM 513 – Wide-angle webcam with resolutions up to 4k 60 fps! Was a little dark at first but the latest updates have made this a great webcam!
- Controls: Elgato Stream Deck XL – This device is way too handy, so many programming options!
- Studio Lights: Elgato Key Light x2 and Key Light Air – These lights are amazing! Tons of control through your PC and great integration with the Stream Deck!
- Studio Monitors: KRK Rokit 5 G4 – I can’t say enough good things about these speakers! I have honestly never experienced sound of this quality, it can not be put into words!
- Gaming Chair: Secret Lab Titan 2020 – This chair takes some getting used to but is very comfortable and durable! My edition of chairs is no longer available, but the link will take you to their site to check out their current line.
